In 1861, William Morris, alongside fellow artists and designers, established Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co., a firm dedicated to producing decorative arts that championed traditional craftsmanship over industrial mass production.
This collective, later rebranded as Morris & Co. in 1875, became synonymous with the Arts and Crafts Movement, advocating for the integration of art into everyday life.
